Are You the Medior/Senior WordPress Developer Who Creates Websites That WOW?

As a Medior/Senior WordPress Developer, you’ll be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, customizing, and maintaining websites and platforms for our clients. Think of companies like Friesland Campina, Grootmeesters, Fitshe, Food&I, Witloft, Vespa, various health and lifestyle brands, as well as small SMBs aiming to achieve more online.

As a Medior/Senior Developer, you’re well-versed in building custom websites using HTML, (S)CSS, and PHP. You’re familiar with plugins like Elementor (and WPBakery), but given the choice, you’d rather build a website from scratch. You create a user-friendly backend using Advanced Custom Fields, Custom Post Types, and have experience setting up and managing WooCommerce webshops.

In addition to setting up websites, you’re comfortable implementing DNS changes, setting up SMTP, navigating phpMyAdmin, and have a basic understanding of APIs. Experience in setting up APIs is a plus.

As a developer (and as an individual), you should be able to keep evolving, which is why we provide the resources and support to make this possible. We are looking for an experienced Medior/Senior WordPress Developer who isn’t afraid to take on a challenge. Our designers will continuously test your skills with each project. In these projects, you’ll often take on the role of lead developer, meaning you’ll lead and take responsibility for development and all technical aspects of the project. These projects will range from simpler websites to complex platforms. Beyond ongoing projects, you’ll be responsible for optimizing and maintaining websites under our management and guiding junior developers.

About the position

At least 5 years of relevant experience in WordPress development
Proven experience with builders, including Elementor Pro
Proven experience with custom theme/plugin development
Extensive experience with WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, and Custom Post Types
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
Knowledge of Bootstrap
Excellent command of Dutch and English
